Lived here 20 years & wouldn't move. Lovely quiet area without the bogans or vandalism of Frankston; we are close to both the bush or beach. Love bush walks or visiting the beach before breakfast! Great safe area for my kids to grow up,& now grandkids.

Langwarrin: 5 mins to the beach, and about 30 to 40 to the city. We are lucky enough to have a great neighbourhood, where the kids can play and be safe. It's only going to get better when Peninsula Link goes through.

I do not belong to any community groups. Do not get any local papers delivered so get very little local news. Services - garbage collection + hard rubbish collect. Streetscape maintenance. Need - footpaths/bicycle paths on Warrandyte/Robinsons Rds

We have only lived in Langwarrin a number of weeks but already we love it. Our neighbours are wonderful, facilities are just minutes away, as is the beach, lovely rural properties. A great place to live

Lovely suburb. Close to beach and plenty of shopping. Clean and friendly

I would also like to add about the selfishness of the area. We couldn't get a neighbourhood watch up and working in the 15 years I was there. The problem was lack of interest. This is a suburb of 30,000 people. I believe this has always been an issue

After 15 years I can say it is predominately a suburb of bogans. People who reckon they have made it getting out of Frankston, Karingal and Cranbourne. Focussed on the material things and not what is important - like being a proper parent for your kids
