European stocks open higher

European stock markets rose in opening deals on Wednesday, with London's FTSE 100 index of top companies up 0.17 per cent to 6063.69 points.

Frankfurt's DAX 30 index climbed 0.23 per cent to 7713.57 points and in Paris the CAC 40 grew 0.43 per cent to stand at 3721.74.
