The Australian share market has closed higher following positive trading on Wall Street.

At the close on Thursday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 14.8 points, or 0.34 per cent, at 4,375.2, while the broader All Ordinaries index was up 11.1 points, or 0.25 per cent, at 4,445.0.

On the ASX 24, the June share price index futures contract was down 12 points at 4,376, with 26,168 contracts traded.
