Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange at noon on Friday:

VAH - VIRGIN AUSTRALIA HOLDINGS LTD - up 2.75 cents, or 7.24 per cent, at 40.75 cents

Virgin Australia shares regain some ground after their 17.39 per cent plunge following the airline's profit warning issued late on Wednesday.

WES - WESFARMERS LTD - down $1.35 cents, or 3.05 per cent, at $42.85

Wesfarmers has downgraded its earnings forecast for its Target stores, predicting a "disappointing" result for the department store chain.

WOR - WORLEYPARSONS LTD - down $2.905 cents, or 13.03 per cent, at $19.385

Engineering giant WorleyParsons has cut its profit guidance because of delays to major resources projects.
