Stocks to watch on the Australian stock exchange at noon on Tuesday:

ELD - ELDERS - down 1.2 cents, or 13.33 per cent, at 7.8 cents

RHL - RURALCO - down 3.00 cents, or 0.88 per cent, at $3.36

Elders has shunned a takeover bid for its rural services division by rival Ruralco.

QAN - QANTAS AIRWAYS - down 3.5 cents, or 2.5 per cent, at $1.365

Security screening staff at Perth Airport's Qantas terminal have dug in for a fourth week of industrial action as they remain embroiled in a wage dispute with employer MSS Security.

SWJ - STONEWALL RESOURCES - up 0.5 cents, or 4.17 per cent, at 12.5 cents

Chinese energy company Shandong has raised funds to buy a subsidiary of Australian gold miner Stonewall Resources.

UGL - UGL - up 7.00 cents, or 1.06 per cent, at $6.66

Engineering firm UGL has secured $120 million in new contracts across its global property services business, DTZ.
