Last result: In its previous review in March, the RBA said the global financial market environment was on a more stable footing and Australian banks were in a good position to address any future turmoil.
The central bank noted that confidence in global financial markets had improved markedly since the concerns generated around euro zone debt in mid to late 2011.

Last result: The RBA reported a rise of 0.2 per cent in the total credit provided to the private sector by financial intermediaries in July, after a 0.3 per cent rise in June.
Over the year to July, total credit rose by 4.2 per cent.
Housing credit rose 0.3 per cent in July, the same as June.
Other personal credit fell by 0.3 per cent in July, after a drop of 0.2 per cent in the previous month.
Business credit rose by 0.1 per cent in July, after rising by 0.5 per cent in June.
