Po Valley Energy Limited is primarily is involved in the exploration, appraisal, development and production of gas properties in the Po Valley region in Italy. It is engaged in exploration for gas and oil in the Po Valley region in Italy, appraisal and development of gas and oil fields, and production and sale of gas from its production wells. It has interest in SILLARO, Vitalba-1dir well, Bezzecca gas field, Santa Maddalena gas field, Cadelbosco di Sopra exploration permit, AR168PY, and Fantuzza. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company produced from both its Castello and Sillaro fields with a total combined production of 28.9 million cubic meters of gas. The Sillaro gas field is located 30 kilometers east of Bologna, and produces from two wells in the Pliocene sequences-Sillaro-1 (three levels completed) and Sillaro-2dir (six levels completed). In February 2011, the Company shot 31kilometers of 60 fold two dimensional (2D) seismic lines in the Santa Maddalena gas field.
