Anglo Australian Resources NL is an Australia-based company engaged in the exploration of gold and base metals projects in the Eastern Goldfields Region of Western Australia. The Company’s projects include Koongie Copper Zinc Project, Victoria Downs Project, Feysville, Mandilla and Leonora Project. The Koongie Copper Zinc deposits are located within the Koongie Park Formation, within the Halls Creek Orogen and include copper and zinc minerals. The Mandilla project consists of 100% interest gold rights attached to two mining leases located 70 kilometers south of Kalgoorlie and 20 kilometers south east of Kambalda. The Leonora Project consists of two exploration licenses, located 10 kilometers north of Leonora, which cover a 10 kilometers long zone of felsic volcanics and sediments.

Russia's Rosneft buys out TNK-BP

In Moscow, Rosneft said it had also agreed to buy the other 50 per cent in the joint venture from AAR for $US28 billion. Rosneft said the deal with AAR is "entirely independent of the transaction with BP". The Russian oil group said it would finance the deal with its own cash as well as new borrowings.

TNK-BP, Russia's third-largest oil producer, is owned on a 50-50 basis by BP and AAR, a consortium of Russian billionaire shareholders. A 50 per cent stake in TNK-BP could be worth about $US18 billion, according to the company's market valuation.
