Rampart Energy Ltd., formerly Earth Heat Resources Limited, is an Australia-based company engaged in the geothermal exploration in Argentina, and oil and gas new venture appraisal in the United States of America. The Company is working avidly to build on its residual North American oil and gas interests to create a situation where earnings can be generated in the shortest possible timeframe. The Company’s Copahue Project is located within a caldera in the Neuquen Province of Argentina, approximately 300 km from the provincial capital and within a few kilometers of the Chilean border. The geothermal resource on which the project is based occurs on the northeast flank of the Copahue volcano. The Company’s wholly owned subsidiaries include Spring River Resources Ltd and Earth Heat Australia Pty Ltd. In March 2014, Washington H Soul Pattinson & Co Ltd, acquired 6.064% interest in Rampart Energy Ltd.
