Kingsgate Consolidated Limited (Kingsgate) is an Australia-based gold mining and exploration company. The Company is engaged in mining and mineral exploration in Australia, South East Asia and South America. The Company owns and operates the Chatree gold mine in central Thailand; the Challenger underground gold mine in South Australia; the Bowdens silver project, New South Wales, Australia, and Nueva Esperanza Silver / Gold Project, Chile. Its subsidiaries include Dominion Mining Limited, Dominion Gold Operations Pty Limited, Quadrio Resources Pty Limited, Dominion Copper Pty Limited, Gawler Gold Mining Pty Limited, Dominion Copper Pty Limited and Kingsgate Bowdens Pty Limited. On September 23, 2011, Kingsgate acquired the Bowdens Silver Project. In March 2013, Caravel Minerals Ltd acquired a package of 46 mineral tenements (35 granted tenements, 6 applications and 5 JV’s) in Queensland and Western Australia from the Company.
