Gunns Limited is an hardwood and softwood forest products company. It operates within three segments: Forest products, Timber products and Other activities. The Forest products division focuses on forestry and plantation management and the processing and sale of wood fibre. The Timber products division is engaged in the processing, manufacture and sale of sawn timber, veneers and other timber products. The Company’s other activities include merchandising, finance, construction and responsible entity (RE) services, vineyard management and wine production and sale. Gunns Limited operates through approximately 40 entities mainly in Asia, Australia and New Zealand. On May 22, 2012, the Company sold Heyfield sawmill. In August 2012, it sold its Portland Woodchip Export Facility to Australian Bluegum Plantations Pty Ltd.
