Sean 'P Diddy' Combs has eclipsed Jay-Z to be crowned the world's richest hip-hop star by Forbes for the second year in a row.
The Bad Boy Records founder's net worth is estimated at $550 million, well ahead of his closest rival in the hip-hop scene, Jay-Z, with $460 million, Forbes reports.

The data has been published in the US business magazine's annual 'Forbes Five' rich list.
The considerable gap between Combs' earnings, who has scaled down his touring schedule in recent years, and active performer Jay-Z may surprise some.
But the 15-year hip-hop veteran's wealth continues to grow through his business activities, including sales of his Ciroc vodka brand, Forbes reports.
After a 122 percent spike in sales of Ciroc Peach last year, Combs is entitled to a nine-figure payout if he ever chooses to sell his stake in the brand.
While he has other business interests, Forbes says his plan to launch a cable TV channel in 2013 "could push him into billionaire territory".
